If I were describe the christian religion. I would describe it as a philosophy that says one must like people--
We must like everyone(gotta be a nice)even though the world is made up of mostly stupid, shallow, corrupt and degenerate people. We must looooove the dirt(let alone like)-Because "God loves everyone", so we should love(like) everyone too. Cute. In other words, we must walk around in an unatural self-imposed delusion pretending that we love(like) everyone and if we ever feel revulsion(hate) towards any fellow man we must feel bad--guilty that we did something wrong. "For I am a Christian" , thinks the deluded person "I should not be feeling any ill will towards any other person". Then the only ill will becomes inward, as one should think-"I am guilty of not liking people--I am bad-for God commands me to love everyone, even my enemies."
Nietzsche put it best, as he descibed this 'love' in #23 of The Anti-Christian:
"Love is the state in which man sees things most decidedly as they are not. The force of illusion reaches its highest here, and so does the capacity for sweetening, and transfiguring. People in love will tolerate more than they usually do, they will put up with anything. A religion had to be invented where people could 'love': it gets them through the worst in life-they stop noticing the bad aspects completely.—So much for the three Christian virtues: faith, hope and charity: I call them the three Christian ingenuities.—"
Christianity in its cleverness makes 'love' out to mean: ignore the bad aspects of life. But to ignore reality(to love) is to live in a fantasy, ie- The English don't mention the bad aspects of life/people--they look the other way--for they have good manners.
So with this 'love' comes toleration of the bad. As Nietzsche says,-"people in love will tolerate more" and "they stop noticing the bad aspects(of people) completely. " Which is why Nietzsche saw the Christian religion as a life denying force, promoting degeneracy and decadance. Jesus loved the prostitutes!, they say------
When a religion comes around and orders you to love everyone,---- and to forgive everyone!..........How silly........ It is saying we must deny our natural instincts (the carnal mind is enmity against God). But denying feelings of hate is such a hard thing to do. The Christian admits this, but because it is so, they pretend that this means it is such a sacred and holy thing. All things are possible with God, they say--God wants me to love and forgive. But when someone has to delude themselves into pretending they have no animosity towards people or things, what must they do? To please God, they must stop the animosity(feelings of hate). They soon declare that it is the actions(behavior) of others that is the source of the dreaded 'hate'. They may try hard, but they still can't stop having ill feelings(hate) against the evil-doer. But try they do- They come up with strange concepts such as hate the sin, but love the sinner--but this does not suffice--
----In truth, the only effective way to 'stop hate' one feels is to get rid of morality completely. We must lower the standards of what we expect out of other people--we must rationilze their behavior away as being "not that bad". This is the result of relying on silly and dangerous catch phrases 'love your enemies' and 'don't judge for it is God that will judge". Because the only way to do it-ie-To get rid of our evil feelings of hate, --to not get mad(angry) at people and to feel loooooove towards 'our enemies' We must learn to to at least be indifferent to the behavior(the source of our hate) that people create.

Most of his writings were destroyed by the church, but fragments survive. Also, Lucien(AD 125-180). Lucian wrote a satire called The Death of Peregrinus,in which the lead character, Peregrinus Proteus, takes advantage of the generosity and gullibility of Christians.

In The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Gibbon concluded that Christianity was principally responsible. This new religion, Gibbon argued, caused Roman leaders to drop out of the public eye in favor of contemplative religious pursuits, caused the empire to concern itself too much with the distractions of doctrinal disputes, and, most telling, undermined the martial spirit of the Romans with a turn-the-other-cheek mentality.

The Bible and the Metaphysics of REVENGE(eat your flesh like fire!)

"This is the social ideal of Jewish propheticism," writes Gerald Walter in his book The origins of communism, "a sort of general leveling that will cause the disappearance of all class distinction and lead to a creation of a uniform society in which privileges of any kind will be banned. This egalitarian sentiment goes hand in hand with a irreducible animosity toward the rich and powerful, who will be denied entry into the future kingdom" On countless occasions the Bible condems as intrinsically EEEEEVIL imperial undertakings and powerful cities and nations. It should be noted that what God is against is human authority in principle--God is against "the powerful" and not, as some might say, that what God is against are those powerful that abuse their power. But it is rather, all those that have power...
It is for this reason that the prophets, by mounting a full frontal opposition to the princes of this world, can appear as the fathers of the socialism of ''liberation"...
The theme of the bible is that the first shall be last and that the elder shall serve the younger. But why? It has nothing to do with the way those in power apply thier power--ie- because the powerful are corrupt. No, it is simply that God detests human authority in principle-ie--no one shall be lifted up.
The first shall be last. Jacob(the younger/ last) uses deception in stealing the birthright of Essau(the first). When people read this story , they become confused as to why God would prefer a deceptive and corrupt individual like Jacob. But there should be no confusion because God is not against corruption IF the ends(bringing down the powerful) justify the means.
Again, the preference given the younger versus the elder brother is only a metaphor for the preference given to the second (to the last) as opposed to the first, to the 'weak' against the 'powerful'. Nothing more would remain to be said if Yahweh claimed to be correcting a particular unjustified situation,- if he claimed to be reacting against the ever -present possibility of an abuse of authority. But this is not what is involved here. It is not the abuse of power that Yahweh condems; it is power itself. From the biblical perspective , human power established as sovereign is intrinsically evil; it is evil in it's very essence. The 'just' are not just in one part and weak in another. They are just because they are weak, by virtue of their weakness, just as the powerful are evil by very virtue of their power. So it is not the weak that are touted by the Bible as much as weakness itself.
Let's read Psalm 119. Its author establishes a logical parrallel between the status of being one of the just=one who respects the word of Yahweh, and = the status fact of being a "stranger" down here(verse19). A 'stranger' meaning being persecuted, humiliated and scorned. This condition, to which the author has been reduced , constitutes his own grace...(ie-if you are persecuted, poor and persecuted, it is a sign that you are favored by God)
God cannot be wrong, weakness cannot be an evil(those that are weak are blessed!). So it is also that the powerful are only triumphing in this world in appearance. Actually, they are damned.
...Therfore, because the psalmist is a 'stranger' -feels humiliated and persecuted, the psalmist transforms his disgrace into grace.....His humiliation is the surest sign of his election, just as the 'triumph' of the powerful is no less the certain sign of their wickedness and the proclamation of their punishment. The spirit of revenge produces the necessary condition for a bad conscience, which itself implies the idea of sin. The instilling of guilt is the only means, the sole means at the disposal of the one who feeeeels victimized by an 'unjust' domination, to convince himself of the absolute his condition gives him--heaven/blessed by God. By the same token, the weak uses this formula by attempting to incapacitate the powerful by awakening in them the infection of doubt/guilt about the causes of their own power.

In the second and third centuries , the christian church was was still overall(although with many exceptions) an army of have-nots. Did I ever point out the fact that sanctimony is a christian virtue? I wonder where they got it from? Mr. big shot Paul goes on to brag about how much he is suffering, and points out that others boast too, so therefore it's his turn to boast, although he is not really a boaster. You see, doubletalkin jive talk is one of Paul's clever tricks, in order to get people to argue for eternity over what this great apostle meant. One thing we do know for sure is that Paul likes to make grandiose claims: "For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ". How nice of Paul.

Because I said ---Paul saw a light fall from heaven which spoke to him----the christ that fell from heaven who was not in the flesh, spoke to Paul quoting Euripidies:
Acts 26:14. The phrase "it hurts you to kick against the pricks" is a Greek proverb (see Euripides, Bacchae, 794-795).
Paul Loved Euripidies: the phrase "Evil communication corrupts good manners," was a good line from Euripidies which Paul mentions in 1 Corinthians 15:33.
What's Euripidies Bacchae about? It's a story about some law and order guy who is pissed off about some new libertine religious cult, so he is determined to wipe them out, but in the process he learns that it is hard to kick against the pricks, so becomes converted to the new cult.
But, it's hard to talk to Paul fanatics.

Acts 26:14. The phrase "it hurts you to kick against the pricks" is a Greek proverb (see Euripides, Bacchae, 794-795).
Paul Loved Euripidies: the phrase "Evil communication corrupts good manners," was a good line from Euripidies which Paul mentions in 1 Corinthians 15:33.
What's Euripidies Bacchae about? It's a story about some law and order guy who is pissed off about some new libertine religious cult, so he is determined to wipe them out, but in the process he learns that it is hard to kick against the pricks, so becomes converted to the new cult.
But, it's hard to talk to Paul fanatics.

He's got a wife and two kids aged 9 and 7, but he's out everynight with some cheap Sterling Heights whore playin with crack pipes, watchin porn and goin down to the casino wantin to make some fast bucks so he can buy more crack, watch more porn and fuck his cheap skank.
Now, on the way home from the casino one night he and his skank are jonesen. They need some crank and crack. So they cruise over to Skootey's house who lives down on 6mi--Skooty says "sheeeet, watch u got?" So this SOB pulls up, gets outa de cah(we at 6mi now, mo fo -- mota citie!). Skank Ho waits in de cah. Unbeknowest to the SOB , Andre be in da house too, and Andre be pissed off at the SOB because the SOB in the past "be dissin me, and sheet" ....."sheeet, i'm gonna kill that mutha fucka" . So all of sudden when the SOB enters the house, ole Skooty skoots back--skootin back to the back, jack--while out from da bedwoo comes Andre wid shot gun in tow.
The Skank Ho later told me this story. She told me that after SOB went into the crack house(crack house fer crackas)she hears this ''YOU MUTHA FUCKAAAAAH!" followed by 2 loud rifle shots, then SOB comin out da house stumblin over the porch with blood gushin.....I feel bad for the SOB. I really do. But nothin about how I feel can change what happened that night.
The Skank Ho made it out of there allright. Forget the details, It's done. SOB comotose and paralyzied. The Skank Ho calls me sayin when SOB gets better they are both gonna stop druggin(because of the pluggin). Stedfast and true. What about his wife andkids, I ask? No response. The SOB's gonna get better--he'll wake up, she says.

It's a story of contradictions. The inconsistency's , and the imperfection of life. But not us. We hated this mixture of resignation and infatuation in regard to life that makes most of the herd put up with it's inconsistencies and inadequacies. It arms hoodlums and provides feather beds for the victims. Democracy and mob rule. Build churches and against churches-universities. Cloisters and trenches. Assign chaplins to the barracks.

We are called to change the world and we are not of the world. What you do does not matter --faith not works, although works come out of faith, but don't rely on works; Faith alone. It's the old story of inconsistency, and the imperfection of life. It looks as though as the whores are profiting from the disorderliness of human affairs by lingering there. I come with a sword, so turn the other cheek. We need to explain things to them in terms they can understand.

Both Christianity and socialism express a desire to help those in need. Both want to end injustice and economic exploitation. Both reject greed and seek a fairer distribution of society's wealth so that all people can escape poverty
